Hamilton Township Wastewater Utility receives award
Recently, Director John Leverence accepted the Platinum Peak Performance Award for achieving 100% compliance with environmental discharge permits for fifteen consecutive years. The ward was given by the Association of Metropolitan Sewerage Agencies (AMSA).

Schoor DePalma's Fran Bonaccorso Selected as Outstanding Young Water Environment Professional
The New Jersey Water Environmental Association (NJWEA) presented Fran Bonaccorso with the 2004 Outstanding Young Water Environment Professional Award. The Outstanding Young Water Environment Professional is presented to the organization member under the age of 35 who contributes a significant amount of time and resources to NJWEA's committees and membership. Bonaccorso was recognized by NJWEA because of his active involvement on a number of the organization's committees, including the Education, Technology Transfer, Conference, and Program committees. He has been a member of NJWEA since 1995 and was responsible for establishing a student chapter of the NJWEA at Seton Hall University.

Schoor DePalma Secures $7 Million in Funding for Clients Schoor DePalma announced that in 2004 it had successfully secured more than $7,076,000 of grants and loans for 12 public sector clients in New Jersey seeking to preserve their open space land. The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's (NJDEP) Green Acres program was started in 1961 to preserve the State's open space and improve recreational public resources throughout New Jersey. The Green Acres program has provided funding to many municipalities throughout New Jersey to assist in the purchase of over 80,000 acres of open space land.

Schoor DePalma has applied for and obtained grants and loans for the following New Jersey municipal and non-profit clients in 2004: Bay Head Borough; Bayshore Economic Development Corporation; Berkeley Township; Deptford Township; Little Egg Harbor Township; Marlboro Township; Mount Laurel Township; Ocean Township; Point Pleasant Beach Borough; Rutherford Borough; Seaside Park Borough; Stafford Township; and Wharton Borough.
