Our
members are energetic individuals who are involved in
their communities as elected officials and civic
leaders, and they belong to various national
organizations to interact with colleagues and to share
ideas in a broad-based forum.
They also
join AEA because we focus on management of
environmental facilities in New Jersey.
It makes
sense. Authorities and municipal utilities operating
in New Jersey need a professional Association that
looks at legislation, regulation, news and events
happening in their back yards. They also look to AEA
to provide a credible voice that will be heard in the
State House, at the Department of Environmental
Protection and in hearing rooms wherever important
decisions regarding water quality and solid waste
management ate being made.
AEA
provides a perspective of nearly 38 years of
legislative and regulatory experience in New
Jersey matters. Our members know that is something
they can't find anywhere else.
