Lower Township Municipal Utilities Authority in Cape May
County is accepting resumes for a full time Water and Sewer
Utilities Superintendent. Eligible candidate would report
directly to the Executive Director, manages a staff of a
supervisor, assistant supervisor, 15 fulltime, 3 part-time
employees, and oversee day to day water and sewer
operations. The Township is 30 square miles with a
population of 23,000 year round residents and 80,000
seasonal residents. The system includes a 4.0 mgd activated
sludge wastewater treatment plant, 27 pumping stations, 5
potable water wells, with 12,000 sewer and 6,400 water
service connections including 80 miles of water and sewer
mains. Candidates should possess five years experience of
plant supervision, NJDEP S-4 w/w treatment, C-3 collection,
T-2 water treatment, W-3 distribution licenses, a CDL class
B or the ability to obtain any of the licenses within one

Authority, a public regional wastewater treatment facility,
is accepting applications for the position of Electrical
Engineer until September 26,
2008.
Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the
Engineering Manager, the Electrical Engineer will be
responsible for preparing detailed engineering drawings,
specifications, and contract documents for advertisement in
accordance with New Jersey Public Contract Laws. In
addition, the Electrical Engineer will work with plant
electrical maintenance and instrumentation staff to resolve
operational problems.
Requirements:
· A
Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from
an accredited school of engineering.
·
A minimum of six years of design experience on electrical
engineering projects typical to the water and wastewater
field.
·
Experience with low and medium voltage electrical
distribution equipment, such as 480 V, 4160 V, and 34.5 kV
electrical services distribution equipment.
·
Computer literacy, good oral and written communication
skills.
Preferred:
· Experience
working with and resolving operational problems with SCADA
process control systems.
· Specific
experience in the evaluation of existing pumping and process
control systems relating to treatment facilities is desired.

Utilities Authority is seeking Licensed Water Treatment
Plant Operators, Class T-2, full or part-time, at its Water
Treatment Plant/Pumping Station Facility. Salary is
commensurate with experience, and between $45,000 and
$55,000 per annum.
The experience requirement is minimum five (5) years in the
operation of a public water treatment plant facility. The
Authority is looking for candidates with experience in water
treatment, as well as the ability to perform general
maintenance of diaphragm pumps, vertical turbine pumps,
lime/fluoride feed facilities, etc. The Authority is a
